Taliyah Murphy

Taliyah is a senior business student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) with a strong interest in real estate and property management. She currently owns and manages a single-family home that has been converted into four furnished units with shared common areas, giving her hands-on experience in leasing, tenant communication, and property operations.

In the fall, Taliyah will begin the MBA program at UCCS, where she plans to deepen her knowledge of business strategy, finance, and property management practices. She is also actively pursuing the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) and Fair Housing Specialist (FHS) certifications, with the goal of ultimately earning the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.

Taliyah’s entrepreneurial mindset, combined with her growing experience in residential leasing and management, drives her commitment to providing quality housing while gaining the skills needed to excel in the multifamily housing industry.
